1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Linux Dedicated Servers LK, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Linux Dedicated Servers LK provides dedicated server hosting services including but not limited to:

  • Dedicated server hardware provisioning and maintenance
  • Network connectivity and bandwidth allocation
  • Technical support and assistance
  • Server management and monitoring services
  • Data backup and recovery services

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Information

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Important: Customers are responsible for securing their servers and data. We recommend implementing strong passwords, regular updates, and security best practices.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Fees and Billing

All fees are stated in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise specified. Payment is due in advance on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

4.2 Late Payment

Failure to pay fees on time may result in suspension or termination of services. A late payment fee may be applied to overdue accounts.

4.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be provided for partial months of service or for services that have been suspended or terminated due to violation of these terms.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purposes. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

  • Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful software
  • Engaging in spam or unsolicited bulk emailing
  • Hosting or distributing illegal content
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other systems or networks
  • Conducting DDoS attacks or network interference
  • Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
  • Mining cryptocurrency without prior written approval

6. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

6.1 Uptime Guarantee

We guarantee 99.9% network uptime. In the event of downtime exceeding this guarantee, customers may be eligible for service credits as specified in our SLA documentation.

6.2 Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 48 hours in advance when possible. Emergency maintenance may be performed without advance notice when necessary to maintain service integrity.

7. Data Backup and Security

7.1 Customer Responsibility

While we provide backup services as part of certain packages, customers are ultimately responsible for maintaining their own backups of critical data.

7.2 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect customer data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our website and services are owned by Linux Dedicated Servers LK and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

Linux Dedicated Servers LK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for services in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Service Termination

10.1 Termination by Customer

You may terminate your service at any time by providing written notice at least 30 days before the end of your current billing cycle.

10.2 Termination by Company

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your service immediately if you violate these terms or if your account is involved in activities that may harm our systems or other customers.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiations before pursuing legal action.
